Just Make Some Turkey, Turkey!
Larry scoffs at fancy Thanksgiving food preparation and sings the praises of plain old turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes. He gives you pointers on how to keep Thanksgiving simple. Hint: it does not involve any kim chee or walnuts. The Joke Of The Week is MIA, but Larry gives you a big dose of “Wizard of Oz” on Magic Movie Moment. And we find an apple that is almost as good as the McIntosh, but probably more difficult to find.

Happy Thanksgiving, Larry, the Colonel, & the Doctor! Gotta tell ya, I’ve been working since 5am, finished up about 2 hours ago, went to my local bookstore, had a cup of coffee, got the latest issue of MAD magazine, and laughed my head off! Now that’s how you know the game’s over and you’ve won!

Hi Larry, your podcast makes me laugh every week. Every time you talk about McIntosh apples I remember what my mother would say every fall. She made the best apple pie and apple strudel I have ever eaten. Every fall she would say ” I don’t care what anyone says, McIntosh apples make the best pies”. I would give my right arm for a piece of that pie now!
