What It’s Like Being A Crank

Larry has a dust-up with a busboy who won’t stop trying to give him water and he bluffs his way through a dinner conversation he can’t hear. Plus, we announce the winner of the contest to “Win Larry’s Money!” Could it be you? Then Larry talks about the Oscar-winning film “In The Heat Of the Night” and then recites the poem A “Thunderstorm In Town” by Thomas Hardy.

Quote of the week: “I don’t hear them, so I’m thrilled.”

Thanks Larry and team for terrific podcast – long time listener – first time writing in. Keep up the great work! I have a request for the poetry corner: a Langston Hughes or Pablo Neruda poem (his Enigmas is wonderful). Thanks again!
