Two Is Too Many, Three Is Not Enough

Larry expresses admiration and support for Kim Kardashian. God bless her, she’s a healthy kid.

Show Summary

It feels like the very first time — Larry’s ever recorded a show or driven in LA as our host forgets to put on his headphones again and gets lost on a road he’s been down 23,000 times.

Larry reads an email STOP. Thinks it’s a telegram STOP.

Larry talks about how impressed he is by British accents and waxes nostalgic for his time working at Pinewood Studios in England.

We find out that knees are, in fact, up at the Lamb and Flag pub. And Larry compares and contrast English, French, Irish and American bar names. Then he talks about station wagon essentials — luggage rack, wood paneling and martinis.

Will Larry’s diet stick? Will Larry show his naked butt on camera again?

We also hear about Larry’s Dad pulling an “overtell” on him, a not-too-purty piggyback fivefecta that Larry thinks looks like a breast (possibly) and that a good head of hair is wasted on a dictator.

Quote of the week: “Edmund Charles Faversham did get rather pickled on the ale.”

Hey, Larry, from a fellow lunkhead, I know how you feel. I’ve worked at the same office for six years and still miss my exit at least once every 2 weeks. The problem stems, I think, from the radio station I listen to on the drive in that plays a batch of Frank Sinatra songs back-to-back.

“If women had any idea, even for a second of how we really looked at them, they would never stop slapping us”

Those are breasts Larry, and nearly everyone has them.

Huge fan and love the show. I write humor for a living and each Monday I do an all-nighter and listen to the podcasts to keep me company (Tuesday mornings I have to bring in a new batch of cartoons each week to the New Yorker). Just want to say thanks for the inspiration it provides. Would love to send you a cartoon.

I caught the bit on let the criminals/terrorists get dressed before arresting them and it reminded me that no one was happier when the caught Khalid Sheikh Mohammed than Ron Jeremy.

Imagine how many times Ron was arrested because he looked like the guy in the deck of cards.

“Look we found this al qaeda guy at a porno shoot in Chatsworth” again.

    Dear Larry:

So great to be able to catch you on a weekly basis. I’m sure you prep diligently for each show, but each episode has the feel of you racing out of the gate with a set destination in mind, then getting distracted by some shiny object and heading off in that direction with equal verve. Just good, old-fashioned story telling that few could pull off, and it is tremendously engaging and appreciated.

    Many thanks!
