Everyone Will Know How To Juggle

Larry’s new year’s resolution is to teach you the difference between a tuba and a sousaphone. (Setting achievable goals is a key to a successful life.)

Gather up your foul weather gear in your best rucksack. Larry talks about the seemingly endless sheets of rain that are soaking the Southern California area. It’s OK, we really need it.

Hear “Our Man Miller’s” imitation of his own ringtone, which is, of course, even funnier than the original ringtone. Then he talks about working with Bobbie Phillips on the movie Carnival of Souls. Find out the REAL reason that Larry’s glad he’s not a stunningly beautiful woman.

Then enjoy a quick stop on Rabbit Island, as Larry discusses recipes sent in by readers. Can Larry segue from Armistice Day into how much he hates the circus? You better believe it, Otto Von Barnum.

Happy new year from Larry and everyone on the show! (Please don’t stop talking to us for saying that.)

Quote of the week: “It’s not her job to see the romance in it.”

    Hi Larry, Jeff, and Chris,

Great show, first of all, enjoyed every one of Larry’s gutsy appearance on Adam’s show (btw, any day now Larry, you’re due for a correct Driving to Florida answer. It’s like 112 blacks in a row at the roulette wheel, a red is coming soon, I can feel it. Statistically, you can’t be wrong ALL the time… can you?)

Hopefully this is not already brought up on the comments, and if so I apologize for duplicating it. I was surfing YouTube the other day and came across a video.

The music sounded REALLY familiar and took me many agonizing seconds before I placed it (fastforward to 0:57 and again at 1:46). Could this be a trend? Is This Week w/Larry Miller on the forefront of a revival? Could I, several months from now, say to my friends “oh, that music? Yeah, I heard it MONTHS ago. What, you mean to say you’ve NEVER heard of it before?”

Anyway, great show guys, keep it up!

I love Undercover Blues. Larry and Stanley Tucci are hilarious. Larry used an odd voice for his character that made it extra funny.

Going home to whip up some “Rabbit Island” and open a bottle of fine wine for the boyfriend! Will let you know how it goes over! Love your podcast Larry!!!!!!

    Love every show Larry.

When mom was newlywed to my navy dad in 1969, she decided to get him a gift for their first Christmas together. Having seen the level of disrepair of his shaving kit bag, she decided that a new one would be an excellent choice. She approached the leather shop and asked the clerk for what she had heard dad say many times: a douche bag.

As you know, the military has their own particular vinacular, and to this day my father gets a laugh from imagining the look on the clerks face, as described by my mother.

    Kit-bag. Love it.

Here’s a sponsorship idea: hows about gettin some local bars on board and give them a couple of shout-outs a show. In return, they don’t pay you any money, but if you show up at their bar and present an official, signed LMDS card, a free double is provided.

I think it will pay for itself (in the long run, that is).
