Larry confused two John Wayne movies in the MMM. He starts out talking about “Cahill”, where John Wayne, his son (Gary Grimes) and an indian (Neville Brand) go looking for the bank robbers lead by George Kennedy but wind up catching some men who robbed a mormon drover. (Of course, they get Kennedy and his group later.) Then he winds up talking about “Big Jake”, where Jacob McCandles (Wayne), his sons (Patrick Wayne & Christopher Mitchum) and an indian (Bruce Cabot) take a chest believed to be full of money to give as ransom to a group that had kidnapped his grandson lead by Richard Boone. Larry’s MMM was actually at the end of “Big Jake”.
